Provost Nancy Brickhouse, Ph.D., Names 2024 COACHE Faculty Satisfaction Survey Committee

August 1, 2023

Baylor University will participate in Harvard’s COACHE Faculty Satisfaction Survey for a second time in spring 2024. The Collaborative on Academic Careers in Higher Education (COACHE) survey will help the University better understand faculty job satisfaction. The survey was first administered at Baylor in 2020. In the 3 years following, faculty and University administration worked together to implement significant improvements in key areas identified through the survey.

The COACHE Committee, which is comprised of faculty from across the University’s schools and colleges, will be instrumental in preparing for the survey, recommending supplemental questions that further assess and build upon findings in 2020, and communicating with peers regarding the survey timeline and importance of participation. Following the survey, the committee will collaborate with colleagues across campus to study the results and recommend improvements based on the survey findings.
